ABOUT

ME

What to say? What to use? Humor? Depth? Chat GPT? Here I go.

I was born in Memphis, Tennessee. Studied at Rhodes College and Accademia dell’Arte in Arezzo, Italy. Then moved to Chicago where I wrote and performed Shakespeare’s Female Women with Ever Mainard at Chicago Comedy Fest and Women’s Funny Festival, and Merry Dogs of Reservoir with Two Pence Shakespeare. Directed a little opera, performed a little burlesque, did some stand up, directed No Exit at Trap Door Theatre.

Then decided to study clown with Philippe Gaulier and physical theatre at L’Ecole Jaques Lecoq in Paris. I came back to Chicago and started creating Betty about the life of Betty Ford.

THEN moved back to France and continued to work on Betty with my association, Ohlavaka Ensemble.  After, I was commissioned to work with a small orchestra to create a children’s show, L’Arbre A Musique for Le Petit Festival in Bretagne, and, as I love absurd historical humor, made a little web series, Medieval Women.

At the end of 2025, Betty gained a nomination for the Virtuoso Award at Stockholm Fringe, and I began work on Blip Blarp: An Alien Love Story which premiers this year at Brighton Fringe and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals.

So….

What’s the overall vision?

I love theatre. I love film. I love creating. I endeavor to craft stories that are as compelling as they are visually stimulating, because, above all, I love stepping outside of our world for a bit and wandering into another one. My aim, my raison d'être, is to supply that. I want to entertain you. I want to tell you stories. I wish to tickle your mind and touch your soul. Will I succeed? Come see my shows and let me know.

I’ll see you there!
